Privacy Policy
The 24-Hour Open House is run by Toby Martin Consultancy & Training, which is the data controller for anything you submit through this site. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number ZB843518.
What we collect
Registration: your email address, and whether you ticked the box to hear from our headline sponsor, Kotini.
Confessions: the text of your confession only. We don't ask for your name or email and we don't attach one. If you use the voice dictation option, your recording is sent for transcription and only the resulting text is saved — the audio isn't stored by us. Please don't include names or details that could identify you or anyone else.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Why we use it
To send you your access link, schedule updates and speaker announcements for the event, and to run the sessions themselves. Confessions are used solely as material for the live Estate Agency Confessions session.
Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you register or submit a confession. You can withdraw it at any time.
Where it's stored and who sees it
Registrations are stored in Google Sheets and confirmation emails are sent from Gmail, both within Toby Martin Consultancy & Training's Google Workspace. A backup copy of registrations is held in the secure database behind this website. Access is limited to Toby Martin and Toby Martin Consultancy & Training.
Kotini: if — and only if — you tick the opt-in box, we send your email address to Kotini so they can contact you. If you leave it unticked, your details are never shared with them.
We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, other than the service providers above who process it on our behalf.
How long we keep it
Registration details are kept for up to 3 months after the event so we can follow up with recordings and news, then deleted. Confessions are anonymous and may be kept indefinitely as event material. Ask us sooner and we'll delete your details straight away.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to us using it. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. Email toby@tobymartinconsultancy.co.uk and we'll sort it.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Donations
Donations are handled by GiveWheel on their own platform. We never see or store your payment details — their privacy policy applies to anything you enter there.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page. Last updated: August 2026.
